MCC Panel

The Motor Control Center Panels (MCC Panel) are used to provide the power supply for motors and blowers in large industrial and commercial application. 

The motor control centers (MCC) having common busbars and each section containing power contactors, protective relays, isolators and other control and indication devices. The MCC are also fitted with VFD’s, PLC’s, metering etc. as required.

Various types of starter are used depending upon requirement/capacity:

  • DOL Starter
  • Star Delta Starter
  • Auto Transformer Starter
  • Soft Starter

The motor can be controlled manually by using start/stop push button or automatically by providing external signals from the PLC/DCS in the same panel or other panel. And All signals between DCS/PLC and MCC is exchanged on the Ethernet platform; it is called iMCC (Intelligent motor control center).

Control (DCS/PLC) Panel

Control panel (DCS/PLC) consists of a controller (C300&C200 Honeywell, DeltaV by Emerson and S7-1200 by Siemens ). It gives digital input/output signal or Analog input/output signal to the MCC panel to operate the field device. Control panel works based on the PLC/DCS program or the relay logic.
