Main purpose for these cabinets. They protect the components, instruments from their surrounding environment. They come in all shapes and sizes to accommodate any situation.<\/p>\n<p>So basically the panels which are located in<strong> the cold rooms like ice cream factory, vegetable storage where the temperature is 10\u00baC to -20\u00baC degree. There we always need to use Stainless Steel (SS) material enclosure<\/strong>. Because SS material does not rust easily, it has low carbon sustains as compere to mild steel.<\/p>\n<p>Basically two type of grades in Stainless Steel we are using for electrical enclosures.<br \/>SS304<br \/>SS316<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1442\" height=\"943\" src=\"https:\/\/lazyhungryminds.files.wordpress.com\/2022\/09\/image-9.png?w=1024\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1023\" srcset=\"https:\/\/electrical.lazyhungryminds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-9.png 1442w, https:\/\/electrical.lazyhungryminds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-9-300x196.png 300w, https:\/\/electrical.lazyhungryminds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-9-1024x670.png 1024w, https:\/\/electrical.lazyhungryminds.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/image-9-768x502.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1442px) 100vw, 1442px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<h2><strong><u>Enclosure <\/u><u>IP ratting or NEMA <\/u><u>rating<\/u><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>IP (Ingress Protection) or NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association)\u00a0 <br \/>both ratings are the degree of protection against solid and liquid.<br \/>But NEMA ratings are used exclusively for electrical enclosure\u00a0 and IP ratings can be used for electrical enclosures and all king of devices.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>IP (Ingress Protection) Ratting<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The IP rating classifies the degree of protection provided by an enclosure for electrical equipment with a rated voltage not exceeding 72.5 kV.<br \/>IP\u00a0followed by two digits, the higher the number the better the protection and this is European standard. \u00a0<br \/>And mostly we use IP ratting for electrical enclosure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We use IP66 electrical enclosure where the temperature is as low as 0\u00baC to -20\u00baC such as cold area, some food industries (ice cream, vegetable storage etc.).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>IP66 = First Digit for solids<br \/>IP66 = Second Digit for Liquids<\/p>\n<h2><b>NEMA (National Electrical Manufacturers Association)<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>The NEMA rating is American standard this stands for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nema.org\/pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National <\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.nema.org\/pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Electrical Manufacturers Association<\/a>\u00a0 which is set the standards for electrical enclosure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We use 3R or 3RX electrical enclosure where the temperature is as low as 0\u00baC to -20\u00baC such as cold area, some food industries (ice cream, vegetable storage etc.).<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2><u><b>Electrical <\/b><\/u><u><b>device IP <\/b><\/u><u><b>rating<\/b><\/u><\/h2>\n<p>When we are designing for <strong>the cold rooms like ice cream factory, vegetable storage where the temperature is 10\u00baC to -20\u00baC degree.
