A CRCA perforated panel is fabricated from Cold Rolled Close Annealed (CRCA) steel sheet, featuring regularly spaced holes to optimize airflow, aesthetics, and weight reduction while maintaining necessary rigidity.
Base Material
- Type: Cold Rolled Close Annealed (CRCA) steel
- Thickness: Standard range is 0.35 mm to 3.2 mm; typically, panels are made in 1.0–2.0 mm for industrial and enclosure purposes depending on load and design requirements.
- Width: Up to 1870 mm for sheets; cut to required panel size.
- Grade: Conforms to IS 513 standards (grades such as CQ, DQ, DDQ, EDDQ).
Perforation Details
- Hole Type: Usually round, but custom shapes (square, slotted) available based on application.
- Hole Diameter: Typical sizes range from 0.4 mm to 6 mm, with spacing (pitch) customized to achieve desired airflow or visual effect.
- Pattern: Uniform grid, staggered, or custom per design; can be specified in drawings.
Surface Finish & Edge
- Finish: Dull, bright, or matt, as required for further treatment or visual appearance.
- Edge: Mill edge or slit edge based on sheet supply.
