AutoCAD electrical designing solution designed to help engineers modify electrical controls to create drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Key features of the platform include project management, wire numbering, component tagging, real-time error checking, coil and contact cross-referencing, report generation, and more among others.
Project Manager
AutoCAD Electrical projects can contain thousands of drawings. Project at the top of the list is the active project. If we want to activate one of the other projects shown in the project manager we should right-click on the project, and select Activate and it will move the project to the top of the list, so It’s important to remember that only one project can be active at a time because when you run project-wide updates it will be done on the active project. So, if you open a drawing from a non-active project and decide to run an update you could be running the update on the wrong project.
Note: We cannot open two projects in project manager with same project name.
