We can change the way AutoCAD looks to display the menu bar, menu browser, toolbars, and the Tool Palettes window by using the Workspace Switching tool.
Workspaces has sets of menus, toolbars, palettes, and ribbon control panels that are grouped and organized so that we can work in a custom, task-oriented drawing environment.
Workshop Switching Buttons Top and Bottom Shown in AutoCAD, click Workspace Switching and select the workspace what you want to use.
How To Switch Workspace
We can easily switch between workspaces. The following task-based workspaces are already defined in the AutoCAD :
- ACADE & 2D Drafting & Annotation
- ACADE & 3D Modeling
- 2D Drafting & Annotation
- 3D Modeling
Click on Workspace Switching Buttons Top or Bottom> Double Click on Workspace ( by mouse ) > what you want to use
And there is second method to switch the Workspace.
Click on Workspace Switching Buttons Top or Bottom>Customize> Right click on workspace ( set as current ) > Apple > OK
How To Create Own Workspace
We can create own workspaces and modify the default workspaces. To create or change a workspace, use either of the following methods:
Click on Workspace Switching Buttons Top or Bottom > Customize>Right click on any workspace> New workspace > Rename the workspace (exp. Test) > Right click on new workspace > Customize workspace > Go to Ribbon, Toolbars, Menus (add in your workspace) > Done> Apply > Ok
