We can determine the process control system with the help of loop wiring. Loop wiring is made up of many field instrumentation components, such as field devices, measurement elements, wiring, junction box terminations, and controller details.

This wiring will contain all the field devices in the process control system and all these field devices will be numbered. A loop wiring will also indicate field device status details and we can find the terminal details of the junction box also we can find the controller card details with the help of loop wiring.
